The cable industry is really three separate industries — the cable operators, cable programmers, and the technology vendors. Cable’s Voice: The Nebraska Cable Communications Association (NCCA) is the voice of the cable industry in Nebraska. The goal of the NCCA is to assist our members in improving the programs and services they offer to the people and businesses of Nebraska.
Incorporated in 1971, the NCCA represents the cable industry to policymakers at the state and federal level. We also serve as a resource for cable companies and any other industries or individuals interested in the cable industry.
The Association has 5 cable company members that serve more than 775,000 households and businesses throughout Nebraska. Every year our members invest millions of dollars in upgrading equipment and the infrastructure in order to enhance cable and telecommunication services to the citizens of Nebraska and support the economic development of our state.
Amy Prenda is the Executive Director for the NCCA and is responsible for managing the organizations day-to-day activities.
